Welcome to CAGPO-ACMOO

We are a national organization that serves the educational needs of General Practitioners in Oncology(GPO).  GPOs are physicians that work in regional cancer centres and community clinics providing oncology care to patients with a diagnosis of cancer.  We work with medical, hematological, surgical, gynecological and radiation oncologists.  GPOs provide both inpatient and outpatient care to patients receiving treatment with both curative and palliative intent.   For some GPOs, this is a full-time career, for others they blend part-time GPO work with family medicine and/or palliative care.

CAGPO-ACMOO strives to support GPOs by providing high quality medical conferences designed to meet the educational needs of GPOs.

CAGPO-ACMOO also awards scholarships to encourage physicians to enhance their oncology knowledge and skills.

We invite you to explore our website and to learn more about us, and how joining CAGPO-ACMOO will benefit you!
